Anne Schonfield, Principal Consultant
Anne founded Schonfield Consulting in 2004. She specializes in strategic planning, program evaluation, applied research and grant making support. Anne loves working with a wide range of clients - from small nonprofits to large international foundations - to identify the organizational challenge they want to solve, and "get the job done." Prior to becoming a consultant, Anne worked for two decades in the nonprofit and public sectors, including International Development Exchange, Pesticide Action Network, Catholic Relief Services/ Zimbabwe, Congressman Gary Ackerman's office and others. Anne holds an MA from University of California, Berkeley (City and Regional Planning) and a BA from Dartmouth College. She lives in Berkeley, California and serves on the Board of Directors of the Berkeley YMCA and Bike East Bay. Anne loves biking, skiing, backpacking, reading fiction and spending time in California’s beautiful Sierra Mountains.

Eva Orbuch
Associate Consultant
Eva has a deep background in the social impact sector. She holds a BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University and an MA in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. She has worked as a teacher, community organizer, consultant, facilitator, and leadership coach. She has experience in nonprofit and for-profit organizations, focusing on external impact, and internal culture and structure.

Zach Friedman
Associate Consultant
Zach is a teacher and educator who is passionate about helping people and organizations thrive. He holds a BS in Chemistry from Tufts University and a MS in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. Zach was founding director Eden Village West, a nonprofit farm and wilderness summer camp, and is an Assistant Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania where he co-teaches classes on building thriving nonprofits.

Amy Vito
Associate Consultant
Amy has worked as a consultant for organizations in the nonprofit and private sectors. She is passionate about helping organizations thrive through effective strategy, building healthy teams, and teaching humanistic leadership. Amy co-founded Beloved Cafe a community hub that supports sustainable food systems and community wellness. She holds an MA in Organization Development from Sonoma State University.

Van Nguyen
Associate Consultant
Van is passionate about equipping private, not-for-profit and public sector clients with strategic market insights that allow organizations to operate at their peak potential. As a consultant at Accenture and Kaiser Permanente, Van worked with a broad range of clients, using a unique blend of analytics and design thinking. Van earned his Masters of Public Policy and BA from University of California, Berkeley.
