Meet Our Team
Anne Schonfield, Principal Consulant
Anne founded Schonfield Consulting in 2004. She specializes in strategic planning, program evaluation, fundraising and grant making support. Anne loves working with a wide range of clients—from small nonprofits to large international foundations - to identify the organizational challenge they want to solve, and "get the job done." Prior to becoming a consultant, Anne worked for two decades in the nonprofit and public sectors, including International Development Exchange, Pesticide Action Network, Catholic Relief Services, Congressman Gary Ackerman's office and others. Anne has an MA from University of California, Berkeley (in City and Regional Planning) and a BA from Dartmouth College. She lives in Berkeley, California and serves on the Board of Directors of the Berkeley YMCA and Bike East Bay. Anne loves biking, skiing, backpacking, reading fiction and spending time in California’s beautiful Sierra Mountains.

Zacha Belok, Senior Associate Consultant
Zacha is a leadership coach and trainer who guides non-profit leaders nationwide through organizational development and coaching. His approach blends embodiment, mindfulness, and art therapy to help leaders cultivate authentic leadership in themselves and their organizations. Zacha has conducted thousands of coaching sessions, trainings, and workshops across industry, non-profit, and government settings, collaborating with the City of Santa Monica, Planned Parenthood, Amazon, and Salesforce. In addition to his role at Schonfield Consulting, Zacha facilitates the Leadership Exchange and Coaching Project with the Northeast Regional Child Advocacy Center and offers private virtual coaching from his office in Fairfax, CA.
Ben Poretzky, Associate Consultant
Ben is a community organizer and strategist passionate about bringing impact-driven projects to life. He holds a BAS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a co-founder of Kinhood, a men’s wellness organization committed to growing men’s capacity to receive and reciprocate care through events and community. Ben served on the board of the Chochmat HaLev synagogue and is a member of the SF Jewish Federation Jews of Color Giving Circle. As a product manager and strategist at Intuit, Meta, and other startups in the Bay Area, Ben worked in the technology sector for several years before focusing on social impact.
Noah Schuettge, Associate Consultant
Noah is a coach, facilitator, and therapist who believes that inclusive organizational cultures lead to impactful strategy and operational success. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Noah has worked as a community organizer, educator, leadership coach, and trainer with non-profit, education, and legal organizations.
Van Nguyen, Associate Consultant (Former)
Van is passionate about equipping private, not-for-profit and public sector clients with strategic market insights that allow organizations to operate at their peak potential. As a consultant at Accenture and Kaiser Permanente, Van worked with a broad range of clients, using a unique blend of analytics and design thinking. Van earned his Masters of Public Policy and BA from University of California, Berkeley.
